In July of 2013, Dave Barend of North Attleboro Massachusetts decided to form a small league of girl golfers for his two daughters, Jillian and Sadie. They both enjoyed playing but did not have any opportunities to play with other girls. He started the GIGL league (Girls Independent Golf League) in 2014 and it has been growing ever since.

This product contains an 8-page slideshow written entirely in French that is appropriate for novice french students. It also contains a PDF version of the story for you to print off for your students. There is a page for teacher ideas.

The slideshow contains some pictures that are credited to the website/works they came from. Permission has been given by Dave Barend himself to use the GIGL logo in the PPT. The images are taken from Pixabay.com
